PROLINE LINEAR TEMPERATURE SENSING

Many fires result from undetected overheat conditions. PROLINE provides a means of potential fire prevention by detecting that overheat at source. Traditional applications include cable trays, conveyors, rack storage, fuel storage tanks, escalators & elevators, pipelines, car parks and road / rail tunnels being traditional applications.Environmental conditions associated with  the transport industry sectors - dirt, dust, damp, corrosive elements and limited access - severely restrict detection options that can be considered for specification.

Line type heat detection provides the perfect solution for land based vehicles and sea-going vessels with its rugged small diameter corrosion and abrasion resistant non metallic or metallic sensing cable construction.

Installed close to the potential origin of the overheat, road hauliers, public transport operators, cargo ship and ferry operators, farmers and warehouse facilitators have witnessed the benefits of PROLINE systems when protecting engine bays, fuel supply lines, battery boxes, braking & exhaust systems, cargo holds and vehicle decks.

Offering UL Listing / FM approval on its range of digital and fibre optic linear temperature sensing products and systems, PROLINE provides a range of independently proven quality products supported by response to customer communications within 24 hours of receipt and 12 hours /day x 6 days/week working hours covering multiple international time zones. PROLINE continuously monitors temperatures at each and every point along its multi-kms sensor cable length within most environmental conditions -without reliance on minimum length exposure- and provides alarm point location indication of abnormal temperature increases associated with overheat and fire conditions - including hazardous areas where ATEX certification can be provided. Design can also allow for different alarm temperature levels within a single risk area.
Communications with customer's central fire alarm or building management system panels are achieved by RELAYS,TCP/IP,RS232,USB, MODBUS and can include graphic displays - depending on PROLINE product specification. Basic Fire /Alarm and Fault /Trouble reporting can be extended to include pre-alarm, ambient rise warning, rate of rise detection,128 site programmable alarm outputs from a single interface and continued detection with cable break detected (sensor or interconnecting cables).
Current PROLINE product developments extend the product alarm ratings at both ends of the temperature scale and also include fault location to match the existing alarm location facility.
