General Description

An explosion proof Transmitter and Receiver System which utilises a modulated Infra-Red beam. The system constantly analyses the received signal, and should smoke be present for a predetermined time, a fire signal is activated. The system is designed to be mounted such that the beam will project between between 0.3 and 0.6 metres below and parallel to the ceiling. Lateral detection may be up to 7.5 metres either side of the beam.
