Alarm, Pre-Alarm & Over Limit Ambient Temperature Detection

1. Proline "TH" Digital System - FM Approved and UL Listed

 "POINT OF RISK" or AREA monitoring of Internal AND External environmental temperatures within an ambient temperature range of -40C to +125C, within corrosive, abrasive and electrically hazardous areas.

Pre-specified Temperature Monitoring  is at ALL and ANY points along a short or multi -kms long sensor cable installation - Not restricted to set points along its length..

Alarm temperature is pre-specified and is NOT dependant upon any minimum length exposure. 1cms length exposure temperature = 1km exposure temperature.

Multiple alarm temperatures can be provided on a single sensor cable to compensate for variations in local ambients without sacrificing operating sensitivity.

Sectional replacement is all that is required after an alarm signal.

Connection to end user central fire alarm control panel does NOT require use of any Proline interface unit for simple alarm /fault signalling.

2. Fibre Optic System

Proline provide a fibre optic linear temperature sensing system with temperature accuracy to within 2C and 1m spatial resolution over an 8kms maximum length of metallic or non metallic dual fibre cable. Operating characteristics are more beneficial for temperature monitoring of power distribution cables , petro chemical downhole type applications where minor changes in temperature can have financial implications to operators and users. 

Fire Detection and Overheat monitoring within Industrial environments can lead to sharp bends in fibre cables, local vibration etc - all conditions which have generated false alarms in fibre optics installations - regardless of manufacturer.

The addition purchase price for the fibre optics linear temperature sensing equipment over and above digital copper cabled linear detection system cannot be justified simply by its offering of a 2C temperature recording accuracy and 1m spatial resolution  for fire detection applications. With Proline Digital linear detection now offering pre-alarm, ambient temperature rise warning and continued detection with break in a sensor cable!

3. Other line type detectors.

In keeping with the Company concentration on line type detection equipment and systems, moisture detectors and "line of sight" detectors (Beam, Ember, Flame) are available to support our linear temperature detection equipment and systems.

4. Accessories
