Specialist Detection Systems:
-
Digital Linear Heat - TH68 , TH88, TH105 sensor cables.
U.K. MANUFACTURED, TESTED, STOCKED, PICKED, PACKED & SHIPPED
ONLY "TH" REFERENCED SENSOR CABLES SUPPLIED BY PROLINE
AND ACCOMPANIED BY PROLINE COMPANY STAMPED CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN -
ARE THOSE ORIGINALLY QUOTED BY THE COMPANY AND SUBJECT TO FULL PRODUCT SUPPORT USING OUR 35 YEARS EXPERIENCE
FM Approved and UL listed
A continuous temperature monitoring cable - ambient rise, overheat, fire detection
Suitable for ANY environment
Detection at ANY and ALL points along its length
No minimum length exposure requirement
Design lengths not affected by high ambient temperatures
Installation at point of risk ( no reliance on favourable airflows) or area protection ( FM and UL spacing recommendations)
Not affected by EMI or RFI
Connection to central fire panel without Proline interface unit
Section Replacement after alarm ( competitor claims to recoverability should be verified as all overheat/fire conditions are localised events with limited sensor cable length exposure)
Interface unit range - alarm point location, colour coded LCD, Alarm over ride fault option.
Low Maintenance
Easily integrated with central fire alarm and Building management control panels = with or without Proline interface
Site tested by simulated or direct flame exposure
PROLINE INTERFACE UNIT RANGE – JULY 2008 NOW INCLUDES.............
ZENSE FIBRE OPTIC LINEAR TEMPERATURE DETECTION
&
ZI - 02 (ALARM,PRE-ALARM,AVERAGE AMBIENT ALARM) DIGITAL SENSOR INTERFACE
ALL "TH" DIGITAL SENSOR CABLE INTERFACE UNITS LISTED HAVE :
- COLOUR CODED LCD DISPLAY,
- ALARM POINT LOCATION FACILITY ,
- VOLT FREE OUTPUT CONTACTS FOR FIRE & FAULT CONDITION
PLUS.............
Part Number Features and Benefit summary
ZI-01: 2000m TH sensor cable connection.
ZI-01RS: An additional RS232 serial link which allows information displayed on the LCD (including alarm point location) to be repeated on customers fire alarm control panel or PC
ZI-02: Two (2) independent lengths of sensor cable with following optional site configuration. Alarm, Fault,RS232 and Alarm point location features on ALL options:
Appropriate sensor cables alarm temperature rating - one for each area Pre-Alarm and Alarm signals on BOTH sensor cables
Automatic re-set Overlimit Ambient Temperature rise Alarm and Main Alarm – on BOTH sensor cables
ZI-03: 5000m TH sensor cable connection. Common fire & fault outputs plus maximum 50 ADDITIONAL site programmable alarm outputs – allowing each output to be dedicated
to a single section of the 5000m maximum “zone” length.
ZI-04: 4 x ZI-01 units within a single enclosure with 4 LCD viewing windows.
ZI-05: Loop wired option with single Interface + up to 64 field mounted “zone boxes”. Each zone box connected locally to maximum 2000m sensor cable.
Interface displays zone box in alarm, location of alarm +signals multiple Alarm conditions, Continued operation with multiple fault conditions (Fire over ride fault)
RS485 network configuration option
Supported by a range of the following detectors:-

"TH" Linear Heat Sensor Cables ZI-01,ZI-01RS, ZI-02, ZI-03 AND ZI-05 INTERFACE UNITS
PROLINE "TH" SENSOR CABLES APPROVED BY:

Factory Mutual (FM) Approvals: 3025739 Underwriters Laboratories (UL): S9029
EXTRUSIONS and STEEL BRAIDINGS
All sensor cables are available with "Rilsan" corrosion and abrasion resistant extrusion (Type"N") or Stainless Steel Braid for increased mechanical protection (Type"B").
PRODUCT ACCESSORIES
A full range of in line jointing & end of line termination boxes (IP65) are available - including Eexe specification. Custom designed fixing devices are included within the product range for regular sensor cable support. The thermal stand- off design of the low smoke zero halogen "T" clip eliminates adverse "heat sink" effects on sensor cables. A "quick release" feature allows rapid installation and temporary removal of the sensor cable as /when required (ie during routine site maintenance programmes on the protected risk area) WITHOUT having to also remove the clip.
Retractable cables and Earthing cables - for petro-chemical risk protection are also available upon request.
